The Greatest Gift

posted Dec 25, 2011, 1:28 PM by Tee Letuligasenoa
For the all the supporters of our ministry, this was certainly a Christmas of giving. We registered 68 participants for our raffle which include so many wonderful items which were donated - flashlights, lanterns, blankets, sleeping bags, propane stoves, tents and a new mountain bike. We also had many free giveaways of knitted scarves and hats, toiletries, and slightly used clothing. The Lord's table included roast turkey, ham, bbq ribs, and many side dishes. But greater than all these that was shared, was the Word of God by Pastor Donnie. His message of Christ's birth, God's greatest gift to all of us, and our choice to accept His grace resonated amongst all in attendance. This whole event, and every event hosted at the park is truly the body of Christ in action, with members of various local churches coming together to serve God's people. And although we rejoice in the opportunity God has created for us to serve and the joy that is brings, we have to say good-bye to one individual who has done so much for so many, Sister Joan. Sister, we pray for safe travel for you and your family and may you always discern and carry out God's will as you had so obediently done here in San Diego. Sister, we will miss you.
